Context
FG BCS is a top-tier CIS brokerage. I own the web terminal + personal cabinet inside a multi-team product org, focused on the high-frequency trading scenarios retail investors hit first.
What I worked on
- Discovery & Research: Conducted deep-dive interviews with retail investors and active traders to understand pain points in high-frequency scenarios.
- Widget Design: Designed the order book, screeners, fast trading interface, portfolio PnL dashboards, and margin position analysis tools.
- Technical Integration: Collaborated closely with frontend engineers to integrate real-time market data APIs via WebSockets.
- Design System: Created and maintained the unified component library for the web terminal, conducting internal workshops for other designers.
- Internal Advocacy: Published research and articles on the internal “Profit” network to foster a design-centric culture.
Outcome
- Unified patterns significantly reduced the learning curve for new investors.
